Tea Tastings

Join our wonderful community for a virtual tea tasting workshop! Discover the world of orthodox tea under the guidance of a UKTA-certified tea sommelier. During the course of a 90 minute session, we will brew and sample three single origin teas, learn about tea and tea history, and explore the process of sensory evaluation.

COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS

I am opening a free tea tasting workshop series for US-based researchers, academics, and support staff impacted by the executive orders.  

You’re invited to come rest, delight your senses, and share some gorgeous cups of tea.

We will be tasting three single origin, orthodox teas. I’ll guide you through the brewing and sensory exploration process. All you need is a small mug, a little bowl or saucer, and a way to boil water. Teas will be sent out in the mail so that you receive them before class.

The workshops are free, but since they are limited in capacity, please make sure you can commit to the time (or pass the tea on to someone else who needs some extra care) before you register.
